“In One Flesh” is the first major exhibition of the Sacred Art School, and took place at theOpera del Duomo Museum. The purpose of this exhibit is to show the work being produced by students and faculty of our school while introducing the teaching of Saint John Paul II: “The Theology of the Body”. In his catechisms he said: “The body, and it alone is capable of making visible what is invisible, the spiritual and divine.” As artists, we believe that the body is the first that our identity, as man and woman, resides in God the Father and that we purpose in this life. With this opportunity, our goal is to restore the true meaning of the body through our art work and to draw our viewers towards truth.
More than 60 were the work exposed by the Students and Teachers of our School (Paintings, Sculptures, Goldsmith and Woodcraft Objects). The visitors were hundreds at the inauguration and we had high affluence for all the month.
